Miscellaneous orders relating to daily activities for U.S. Army regiments traveling and stopping at forts and camps along the Mississippi River, 1808-1809. Locations include Fort Belle Fontaine, on the west side of the Mississippi near St. Louis, Fort Adams and Cantonment Columbian Spring in Mississippi, Fort Maddison (Fort Madison) in Iowa, and Camp Bellevue on the Mississippi. Belle Fontaine material contains detailed information on soldiers' vital statistics and occupations. Also includes one page of Sublegionary orders dated 1795.
